    How do I name a Trusted Contact?

    Digiposte safe holders have the option of naming close and trusted persons to regain access to their safe and the documents stored in it in the event of incapacity, death, etc.

    To name a Trusted Contact:

    - Log in to your Digiposte safe
    - Click on your Profile in the top right-hand corner and then on Manage safe.
    - Then click on the Add Trusted Contact button.
    - Enter information about the person you want to name as the trusted contact person.
    - Tick the box “I would like my trusted contact to be able to access my sensitive documents and data contained in my Digiposte safe if I am unable to access them myself”.
    - Click on the Confirm button.
    - The status of your Trusted Contact will then appear as: Request pending.

     

    Your trusted contact will automatically receive an email telling them that you would like to name them.
    It is then up to them to accept or refuse the request.

    - If they accept, the status of your Trusted Contact will appear as: Confirmed
    - If they refuse, their status will appear as: Refused
